Okay, so yesterday, I dug into this wrestler, William Soto. I’d seen some snippets about him online and wanted to get the full scoop.
First, I hit up the usual spots, you know, the big wrestling databases and forums. I found out that this guy has a few aliases – Manny Soto, Cyclone Soto, and a couple others. Apparently, he’s a pretty big deal, especially after seeing his record mentioned.
Then, I started to look into his matches. There’s this one stat that really caught my eye – a 46-0 margin in some of his key matches. And get this, he wrapped up most of these matches in the first period! I mean, who does that? I watched a couple of his bouts, and the dude is intense. No wasted movements, just straight-up dominant.

- Dominant Wins: This guy was crushing it on the mat, especially in his quarterfinal through final matches.
- Quick Matches: Most of his fights were over before you could even grab a second snack. We’re talking technical falls, and fast.
- Versatile: He’s not just a one-trick pony. Soto has gone by different names like Manny Soto and Cyclone Soto, which I found out from digging through the Internet Wrestling Database.
- Mentions in Articles: I found a few mentions of him in recent wrestling articles, including one where he won on Championship Saturday at 101 pounds. Kid’s a freshman and already making waves.
- Special Christmas Eve Edition: He was even featured on NXT on Christmas Eve.
- Inspiration for a Movie: Heard rumors that a film director, William Goldenberg, is making a movie about a wrestler’s life, Anthony Robles, and Soto’s career might be an inspiration for it.
Some Highlights:
I also checked out some newer stuff, like results from the 2024 Defense Soap Super 32 Wrestling Challenge. Even though I didn’t find Soto’s name in the current brackets, it’s clear he’s set a high bar.
Oh, and get this – I saw a blurb about him still being in his first season in the Bronx after being traded from the San Diego Padres. Sounds like he’s making moves on and off the wrestling mat.
All in all, it was a pretty productive deep dive. William Soto is definitely a wrestler to watch. His track record is nuts, and from what I gathered, he’s just getting started.
