Okay, so I’ve been thinking a lot about this dude, Josh Matthews, and whether or not he’ll ever come back to WWE. You know, the commentator guy? Used to be on Tough Enough? Anyway, I did a little digging and here’s what I found.
Started with a Simple Search
First off, I just typed “will josh matthews ever return to wwe” into Google. You know, the usual. I scrolled through a bunch of stuff – forums, news articles, the whole nine yards. It was kinda hard to figure out what was legit and what was just people making stuff up.
Checked Out What People Are Saying
- Forums were a mess. Some people were all like, “Yeah, he’s totally coming back! I heard it from a guy who knows a guy…” Others were like, “Nah, he’s done with WWE. He’s happy where he is.” Lots of arguing, not much actual info.
- News sites were a little better. I found a couple of articles talking about his current gig at Impact Wrestling. Seems like he’s doing pretty well there. They mentioned he’s got a bigger role, calling the shots and stuff. I thought that was interesting.
Dug into His Current Situation
So, after reading all that, I went and checked out some of his recent interviews. He talked a bit about his time in WWE and his move to Impact. He didn’t say anything about going back to WWE, but he didn’t completely shut it down either. He seemed pretty content at Impact, though.

Tried to Connect the Dots
Thinking about it, I tried to piece together what I’d learned. He’s got a good thing going at Impact, he’s got more control, and he seems happy. On the other hand, WWE is, well, WWE. It’s the big leagues. Maybe he’d like another shot there someday? It’s hard to say.
My Gut Feeling
Honestly, after all this, I don’t think he’s coming back to WWE anytime soon. He seems to be in a good place, and it’s not like WWE is desperate for him. But, who knows? Things change in wrestling all the time. Maybe down the road, he’ll get the itch again. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
Anyway, that’s my little investigation into the Josh Matthews situation. It was kind of a fun little project. I learned more about him and the world of wrestling. I hope you enjoyed it too.
