I remember that time I wanted to get into the whole “star shoes” trend. I saw them everywhere, and they looked so cool, so I decided to give it a shot.
First, I started by looking around online to see what was out there. You know, just casually browsing to get a feel for the different styles and brands. I didn’t want to rush into anything. There are lots of shoes with stars, like the Converse All Star. It is said that it is very comfortable, like a barefoot experience, but it is not my style, so I gave up looking for it.
Then, I started to visit some shoe stores in person. I figured it’s always better to try shoes on before buying them. I went to a bunch of different stores, trying on every pair of star-themed shoes I could find. Some were comfy, some were too tight, some were just plain ugly. It was a real mixed bag. Golden Goose‘s shoes are my favorite, especially the Super-Star. It’s so iconic, but it’s a little expensive, so I didn’t buy it.

- Tried on a ton of shoes.
- Compared prices online and in-store.
- Looked for deals and discounts, but didn’t find many for the ones I liked.
After a while, I narrowed it down to a few pairs that I really liked. I went back and forth between them, trying them on multiple times, walking around the store like a crazy person. I even asked some random people what they thought, which was probably a little weird. I also asked the clerk for advice, but they seemed to know nothing about shoes.
Finally, I made my decision. I picked a pair that I thought looked great and felt comfortable. I paid for them and walked out of the store feeling pretty good about myself. But it always feels kind of weird when someone compliments me on my shoes. I just got the shoes that I liked, but didn’t know how to respond to others’ compliments.
Since then, I started to take care of my shoes and pay attention to the comfort of my feet. I found that the comfort of shoes is very important. A good pair of shoes can make my mood better. I even learned some knowledge about shoes, such as stack height, drop, toe box width, etc. I learned that flat-soled shoes are very comfortable. They allow my feet to roll from heel to toe when I walk and distribute the weight evenly across my feet.
I’ve been wearing them a lot since I got them. They’ve become one of my go-to pairs of shoes, and I always get compliments on them. It was a bit of a journey to find the right pair, but it was totally worth it.
