Then, I started thinking about what a best-of-seven series would actually look like in the NFL. Here’s where the problems started popping up:
- The Physical Toll: Football is BRUTAL. I mean, these guys are slamming into each other at full speed. Playing one game a week is already pushing it. Imagine asking them to play up to seven games in a row, with only a few days rest in between? No way. - The Season Length: The NFL season is already pretty long. Adding a best-of-seven series for each playoff round would stretch it out for months.
