Okay, so I’ve been tearing my hair out all week over this one lineup decision: Start Allen Lazard or Najee Harris in my flex spot? It’s a tough one, right? Both have good matchups, both have shown flashes, but who’s gonna actually put up the points?
First, I dove into the stats. I looked at targets, receptions, rushing attempts, everything. Lazard’s been getting more consistent looks lately, especially in the red zone. That’s tempting, you know? Touchdowns are king in fantasy.
Then I switched over to Harris. He’s the workhorse, no doubt about it. He’s getting a ton of carries, even if he’s not always breaking off huge runs. Volume is a safe bet, or so I thought.

My Process of Pondering
- Checked the weather. Silly, I know, but wind and rain can mess things up. Green Bay looked clear, Pittsburgh a little chilly.
- Read injury reports. Gotta make sure nobody’s playing hurt. Both guys seemed good to go, thankfully. No last-minute surprises there.
- Scrolled through expert rankings. Ugh, mixed opinions everywhere. Some had Lazard higher, some had Harris. No help there!
- Asked my buddy. He’s in my league, so I should have ignored him. He said Harris, but he’s probably trying to mess with me.
So, I was still stuck. Back and forth, back and forth. Lazard’s upside vs. Harris’s supposed safety net. My gut was telling me one thing, my head another.
Finally, I just went with my gut. I locked in Lazard. Why? I don’t know! Maybe it was the potential for a big game. Maybe I just like saying his name. Whatever the reason, I made my choice.
Now, it’s just a waiting game. Sunday can’t come soon enough. I’ll be glued to the TV, second-guessing myself every five minutes, probably. But hey, that’s fantasy football, right? A constant rollercoaster of hope and despair. Will keep you posted if I make a brilliant move or regret.
