Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get back into shape, and I heard about this “Squire Athletics” thing. Figured I’d give it a shot and document the whole messy process. Here’s how it went down:
First Steps: Finding Information (and Getting Confused)
First, I googled “Squire Athletics.” The name sounded cool, I guess.
I started with a quick search online.
Digging Deeper: The Actual Program
It started with a program they *’s all about functional fitness, not just lifting heavy stuff. Think movements you’d actually use in real life, not just posing in front of a mirror.
I decided to try a few sample workouts I could find.
- Warm-up:Started with some basic cardio like jump-jacks for about 5 minutes to get my heart pumping.
- Workout:Then, it went into stuff like:
- Squats (ugh, my legs were already burning)
- Push-ups (I’m really bad at these)
- These weird lunges with twists (felt like I was going to fall over)
- Planks (my abs were screaming)
- Cool-down: Ended by 5 minutes of streching.
The Verdict (So Far)
I finished one week,I gotta say, it’s tougher than I thought! I’m sore in places I didn’t even know could be sore. But, I also feel…kind of good? Like I actually did something. It’s definitely not a walk in the park, but it’s also not soul-crushingly boring.
I will keep update after a month.
