Okay, so I’ve been seeing a lot of buzz about the Ross Chastain Busch Light car lately, and, honestly, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Plus, I kinda wanted to try recreating it myself. So, I dove in, headfirst!
Getting Started
First things first, I needed pictures. Lots and lots of pictures. I scoured the internet, looking for every angle of that car I could find. I wanted the front, the sides, the back… you name it, I grabbed it. I needed to get a real feel for the design.
Breaking it Down
Once I had a decent collection of images, I started analyzing the design. It’s more than just slapping a Busch Light logo on a car, you know? There are specific color blocks, stripes, and little details that really make it pop. I started making notes – what color goes where, the size of the logos, how the stripes curve… all that good stuff.

My Recreation Attempt
- I chose to build the car, using cardboard paper.
- Then, I carefully replicated the paint * took patience.
- Finally, the moment of truth… I carefully placed the sponsor logos.I can make some tiny mistakes.
The Finished (Sort Of) Product
It’s not perfect, not by a long shot. The curves are tough, and getting the proportions right is a real challenge. But, hey, I learned a ton in the process! I have a new appreciation for just how much detail goes into these designs. And, even though mine is a bit rough around the edges, I’m pretty proud of what I managed to put together. It was a fun project, and I definitely recommend giving it a try if you’re a fan of racing or just like a good creative challenge!
