Alright, so I’ve been getting into padel lately, it’s like a mix of tennis and squash, super fun. And I heard the USTA National Campus in Orlando has some sweet padel courts. So, I figured, why not? I’m gonna check these courts out myself.
First thing I did, I grabbed my phone and searched for the USTA National Campus address. Got that sorted, then I jumped in my car. Gotta say, finding the place was pretty easy, it’s massive, you can’t miss it.
Getting There and Getting Started
Once I parked, I headed straight for the main building. I just walked in and asked the person at the front desk about the padel courts. They were super helpful, gave me directions and told me about how to reserve a court.

They told me, sometimes they got walk-in availability, but reserving online is best. Since i am already there so i give it a shot
- I walked over to where the courts are located.
- Lucky me! There’s a free court.
- I asked a staff near the courts, and boom, I’m in.
Playing Time
The courts themselves? Man, they were pristine. Really well-maintained, felt like a pro playing there (even though I’m definitely not, haha).
I played for about an hour, just messing around, practicing some shots. Even managed to get a few good rallies going with another guy who was there. The lighting was great, the surface was perfect, and the whole vibe was just awesome. It’s enclosed with glass and mesh, which is cool because you can really smack the ball without worrying about it flying off into the next county.
Wrapping Up
After I was done, I just packed up my gear, made a mental note to book online next time, and headed out. Seriously, if you’re in the Orlando area and you’re even remotely interested in padel, you gotta check out these courts. Totally worth it.
I am thinking maybe next time, I can take a lesson there, I saw they offer lessons too, which I can use some formal training.
