Okay, so I’ve been wanting to check out this Onhockey TV thing for a while now. I’m a huge hockey fan, and I heard it’s a great way to watch games, especially if you’re into the NHL.
Getting Started
First, I went to the Onhockey TV website. The website loads up, looks pretty legit.
Figuring Out What to Watch
They’ve got a bunch of different games listed. I saw that there are 29 NHL fixtures available to watch live in the next week! I used the filters to only see NHL since that is what I am interested in.

Choosing a Game
I picked a game that looked interesting and clicked on it. It brought up the option to stream or watch it on TV. I chose to stream it.
Watching the Game
- The stream started right up, no issues there. It was pretty good quality, too.
- I watched the whole game without any problems. I didn’t need to create an account or anything which was great.
Trying It Out on My Phone
Later, I wanted to see if I could watch on my phone. I pulled up the website on my phone’s browser, and it worked perfectly. It’s cool that you can just tune in using your smartphone.
Exploring Other Options
While I was on the site, I noticed they have other sports too, like basketball, soccer, even UFC. That’s pretty neat, although I’m mostly just here for the hockey.
Looking at Premium
I saw something about a premium option. Apparently, you can upgrade to get extra features and better streaming options. I’m not sure if I need it yet, but it’s good to know it’s there.
Thinking About Other Services
I know there are other ways to watch hockey, like ESPN+ or Hulu. They have a lot of exclusive NHL games apparently. I also heard about something called HockeyTV, which is specifically for on-demand hockey streams. Also, there is something called fuboTV that has a lot of NHL fixtures.

Considering Cable
Of course, there’s always regular cable TV. Channels like ESPN, FOX, and NBC show NHL games. You can even watch some of them online with an app if you have a cable subscription.
Wrapping Up
Overall, I had a good experience with Onhockey TV. It’s super easy to use, you can watch on different devices, and you don’t even need to sign up. I’ll probably keep using it, especially for those games that aren’t on regular TV. It’s a solid option for any hockey fan, that’s for sure.
