Okay, so today I decided to dive into the world of sports data, specifically focusing on the New York Giants. I’ve always been a bit of a stats geek, and I wanted to see if I could build something cool, a tool to easily track Giants news and updates. That’s where SportSpyder came in – I figured it would be a good starting point.
Getting Started
First things first, I opened up my browser and went searching. I wanted to collect information and display it in a well-organized manner. It took a bit of poking around to figure out the best way to utilize it. This is my initial goal, I thought simple would do.
The Process
- Finding the Data:I Spent some time on the website. I must collect the latest game’s scores, time, and players.
- Making Sense of It:Then I started the work, I found lots of data. It took some trail and error, but I finally got it into a format that was easy to read and work with.
- Put them together:Finally, I put all the imformation together.
The Result
After a few hours of messing around, I finally got something working. When I finished, I refreshed, and all the latest game scores, players, and time, displayed on the screen. I was pretty happy with how it turned out! It wasn’t perfect, but it was a fun little project, and I learned a lot along the way. I can definately see myself tinkering with this more in the future, maybe adding some more features or even trying it out with other teams!
