Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this Valkarie Sebring GT thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I started out with, like, zero clue. Just saw some pictures online and thought, “That looks cool, I wanna try that.”
The Beginning (aka Total Confusion)
First, I had to figure out what I was even doing. I mean, “Valkarie Sebring GT”… what is that? Turns out, it’s a kit car. You know, one of those things you build yourself. I’ve built, like, IKEA furniture before, but this was a whole different level. I felt way over my head.
Gathering the Stuff
Next up, finding parts. This was a scavenger hunt, let me tell you. I spent hours online, scouring forums, and those old, dusty websites. I made some calls, sent some emails, you name it.

- Engine: Finally found one that seemed okay. Fingers crossed it actually works.
- Chassis: This was a beast to locate. Ended up driving a few hours to pick it up from some guy’s garage.
- Body Panels: Ordered these online. They arrived, and… well, let’s just say they needed some “love.”
- Everything Else: Bolts, screws, wires, you name it. My garage started looking like a junkyard.
The Build (aka Blood, Sweat, and Tears)
This is where the real fun began (and by fun, I mean frustration). I started putting things together, following the instructions (sort of). Some parts fit, some parts… didn’t. I spent a lot of time with a hammer and some, uh, “persuasion.”
I swear, some of those bolts were put there just to mess with me. Stripped screws, cuts, bruises… I’ve got it all. It was a learning experience, that’s for sure. I watched a bunch of YouTube videos, which helped a little. Mostly, it was just trial and error, error, error.
The (Almost) Finished Product
I’m not gonna lie, it’s not perfect. There are some gaps, some misaligned panels, and probably a few loose bolts I haven’t found yet. But you know what? It’s mine. I built it (with a lot of help from the internet and some very patient friends). It runs and drives. That’s a win in my book!
It’s been a wild ride, and I’m still not completely done. There’s always something to tweak, something to improve. But for now, I’m just gonna enjoy the fact that I actually, kinda, sorta, built a car.
