Okay, so I’ve been digging into the Capital City High School hockey scene for the 2021-2022 season. It’s been a bit of a journey, let me tell you.
First off, I started poking around the usual spots online to get a feel for the team. I found some basic info – you know, the usual stuff like their nickname, the Capitals, and their team colors. Nothing too surprising there, they play in the Michigan High School league.
Then I started to get into the real details of tracking down the roster. I spent some time browsing through different sports sites. It was a bit of a slog, honestly, lots of clicking around and hitting dead ends.
I found some snippets here and there, like who some of the potential players might be. I also stumbled upon some mentions of their schedule for the season, which is always useful. But a full, confirmed roster? That was proving to be tricky to find.
I kept at it, though. I dug through team pages, looked at some local news articles, and even checked out some social media posts. It felt like a real scavenger hunt, piecing together bits of information from different sources. This team is in the Capital City, Big North, Great Lakes, Independents, KLAA, and Lakes Valley conferences.
I’m still working on compiling everything into a neat, organized list. But I did manage to confirm a few names. I also noticed that they are a Division 1 team, and have a pretty good record – they were champs in 1997, 1998, 2000, 2004, 2006, 2019, and 2021!
- Quarterback: Found a couple of names that seem promising, but nothing 100% confirmed yet.
- Running Back: This position seems a little clearer, with a few strong contenders emerging from my research.
- Defense: This is where it gets interesting. I found some really solid players mentioned, which could make for a tough defense.
I checked out a recent game they had listed on their website, that was a cool find. I also saw they were doing some kind of staff introduction for the 21-22 school year, which is a neat way to get to know the people behind the scenes.
It seems like they are a school that really promotes sportsmanship and teamwork, which is great to see. Their calendar also has some important school dates for the 2024-2025 year, which is helpful for planning if you’re a parent or student.
Anyway, that’s where I’m at right now. I have also seen that the school is hiring for some positions. It’s a work in progress, but I’m determined to get that full roster nailed down. It’s a bit of a mess, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right? Stay tuned for updates!

After searching more on the Fall 2021-2022 Schedule Coaches, I successfully compiled a roster of the players. But I found that this page hasn’t been updated yet.
