Okay, so I was doing this crossword puzzle the other day, and I got totally stuck. You know how it is – you’re cruising along, feeling all smart, and then BAM! You hit a wall.
The clue was “be an angel.” I stared at it, I thought about it I wracked my brain for synonyms, metaphors, anything. Nothing!
First steps, my search:
- I tried to think literally: Angels, wings, halos… Nope.
- I tried to think figuratively: Kindness, generosity, help… Still nothing.
- I even started going through religious texts in my head! Getting desperate.
Finally, in a rage, I gave up and searched the internet for the clue. I started typing “be an angel crossword clue” into the search bar, hoping for a quick answer.
And, you know what? The answer was super simple. Are you ready for this? It’s “FUND”.

I felt like a goof, but at least I finished the puzzle, I laughed, and now share the story.
