Okay, so today I was trying to find exit 1 near Helena. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, it turned into a bit of an adventure, so I figured I’d share my experience.
The Mission: Find Exit 1
I started by, you know, just driving around. I figured, “Hey, it’s an exit, how hard can it be to find?” Famous last words, I guess. I was in the general Helena area, and I knew I was looking for exit 1, but that’s about all I had to go on.
I drove up and down, back and forth, checking every sign I could see. Nothing. Absolutely nothing that said “Exit 1”. I started to think maybe I was in the wrong Helena, or maybe exit 1 was some kind of mythical place that only existed in legends.
Getting a Little Help
After what felt like forever, I decided to use Map on my phone.I typed in “Helena, exit 1” and hoped for the * took a while, but I could see exit 1 and exit2 on my phone.I set the position of exit 1.
I zoomed, and I saw a rough position of exit * that’s something, at least.
Finally Found It!
Armed with my phone, I started driving again. And there I found the exit 1.
So, the lesson of the day? Always get accurate position! It can save you a whole lot of time and frustration.
