Okay, so, I’ve been getting into collecting baseball cards lately. It’s kind of a throwback to when I was a kid, you know? Anyway, I decided I wanted to focus on collecting Max Fried cards. He’s a pitcher for the Atlanta Braves, and I think he’s pretty good.
First, I did some digging online. I wanted to see what kind of cards were out there. There are quite a few places, apparently, that sell them. I found a lot of websites, places that specialize in trading cards, listing rookie cards and all sorts of stuff.
Then I started making a list. I figured it would be good to have some kind of checklist, right? So I started writing down all the different Max Fried cards I could find info on. There’s a bunch of different sets, it seems, like Topps Chrome, and some of them have variations like refractor or pink refractor. Whatever that means. This took me the whole day, very exhausted.

After that, I wanted to know what these cards were worth. I mean, I’m not trying to get rich or anything, but it’s good to know. Some sites have price guides, and they track how much cards have been selling for. It’s all pretty confusing, but I’m slowly figuring it out.
Next, I actually bought some cards. I decided to start small, just a few to get my collection going. I put some order on different platform, and I’m waiting for them to arrive. It’s kind of exciting, like waiting for a present.
Once I get the cards, I’m going to need to figure out how to store them. I don’t want them to get damaged or anything. I guess there are special sleeves and holders and stuff. I’ll have to look into that.
- Phase 1: Researching Max Fried cards online.
- Phase 2: Creating a checklist of different cards.
- Phase 3: Trying to understand card values.
- Phase 4: Purchasing a few cards online.
- Phase 5: Waiting for the cards to arrive.
- Phase 6: Figuring out how to store the cards properly.
So, yeah, that’s where I’m at with my Max Fried baseball card collecting adventure. It’s a lot more complicated than I thought it would be, but it’s also kind of fun. I’ll keep you guys updated on my progress. Maybe one day I’ll have a really impressive collection. Who knows? Wish me luck!
