Okay, so I’ve been trying to get my hands on some LSU baseball stats lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I wanted to track how the team’s been doing, you know, beyond just the wins and losses. I’m talking batting averages, ERAs, the whole nine yards.
First, I started with a simple search. I figured the official LSU Athletics site would have something, right?
I poked around there for a bit. It had some basic info, game recaps, and player profiles, but not the detailed stats I was craving. I needed the nitty-gritty numbers!

Then, I remembered about some websites that save all kinds of data. I tried to find the stuff I needed on a couple of those.
I spent a good chunk of time scrolling and clicking, I looked at every option. I was feeling a little frustrated, To be honest, I was almost ready to give up.
My “Eureka!” Moment
But then, I changed my mind and started looking at individual games. And bingo! I found a file that had all the play-by-play action, including all the stats I could ever want!
I was so excited to get all those stats, that I downloaded all of the game files.
Now, I have a folder full of all LSU’s game stats. Finally, I can analyze the batting averages, check out the pitchers’ strikeout rates, and compare different players’ performance throughout the season. It’s stat heaven!
