Okay, so I got curious again. You watch these guys on tour, hitting amazing shots, and you just wonder, what setup are they using right now? This time, I decided to figure out what Patrick Cantlay is playing for 2024. It wasn’t like clicking one link and getting a perfect list, you know? It took some poking around.
First thing I did was pull up some recent tournament coverage. You gotta really watch closely sometimes. Freeze-framing helps, especially when they show close-ups during the broadcast. I started with the big stick, the driver. Looked like his usual Titleist, probably that TSR model they’ve all been liking. Took a few different angles from video clips I found online, just watching replays over and over, to feel pretty sure about that.
Figuring out the rest of the long game
Then I moved onto the fairway woods. Sometimes guys change these up more often. Again, back to the footage. Saw him pull a fairway wood on a par 5, definitely looked like a Titleist again. Maybe a TSR2 or TSR3? Hard to be exact from my couch, but that’s the vibe I got. Didn’t see him using a hybrid much in the clips I watched, but he usually carries one, often Titleist too. Needed to look at a few different tournament photos just to get a feel for what might be in there.

Irons and Wedges – The Scoring Clubs
The irons required more squinting. The logos are small! He’s been an AP2 guy, then moved to the T100s I think? From the shots I saw, they looked like Titleist blades or very close to it. Probably the T100 model still, that seems to be his comfort zone. You see that clean look at address in the close-ups.
Wedges are always fun to check. His short game is solid. Definitely looked like Vokey wedges, the usual SM series. I tried to guess the lofts based on the shots he was hitting, like seeing him hit a high flop shot probably means he’s got that 60 or 62-degree in there. Standard stuff for these pros, usually three or four wedges.
The Money Maker and the Ball
The putter is often the easiest to spot if they stick with the same one. And yeah, it looked like his trusty Scotty Cameron Newport style putter. That classic shape is hard to miss when they zoom in on the greens. He’s been rolling that thing well for years.
Oh, and the ball. Almost always a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x for these guys. Saw the logo clear as day on a few putts and tee shots shown up close. Pretty standard stuff, but you gotta confirm!
So, What Did I Find?
After all that watching and searching around, here’s what I pieced together for Cantlay’s likely bag in 2024:

- Driver: Looked like a Titleist TSR2 or TSR3.
- Fairway Wood: Titleist TSR model again, maybe a 3-wood.
- Irons: Seemed to be Titleist T100 irons.
- Wedges: Titleist Vokey SM series, probably three or four of them.
- Putter: Scotty Cameron Newport style blade.
- Ball: Titleist Pro V1x.
So yeah, that was my little project. Took a bit of effort, watching replays, looking at photos from different events. It’s not always straightforward, but it’s interesting to see what gear these top players trust when they’re competing. Mostly sticking with his Titleist stuff, which makes sense. Anyway, that’s the rundown based on my digging!
