Okay, so today I tried out this “Daily 3 Minnesota” thing. The idea is pretty simple, pick three things you wanna get done, and boom, focus on those.
First thing this morning, I jotted down my three things. I didn’t use any fancy app or anything, just a scrap of paper I had lying around. I find it easier to keep track of my work by hand, maybe I am old.
- Finish that blog post draft.
- Clean out my email inbox.
- Go for a 30-minute walk.
I started with the blog post, since that was the biggest thing hanging over my head. I set a timer for like, an hour, and just powered through it. Getting it done first thing felt amazing, like a huge weight off my shoulders.

Next up, the email inbox. Ugh. I opened it ,That wasn’t as bad as I thought, actually. I spent about 20 minutes deleting junk and replying to the important stuff. It’s still not perfect, but it’s a heck of a lot better than it was.
Take a break
Then, time for the walk! I put on my shoes, grabbed my headphones, and headed out the door. It was a nice day, so that made it even better. Just getting some fresh air and moving around felt good.
So, yeah, that was my “Daily 3 Minnesota” experiment. I gotta say, I’m kind of digging it. It’s a simple way to stay on track and not get overwhelmed by a giant to-do list. I might actually keep doing this!
