Okay, so I’ve been messing around with detailing my car lately, and I stumbled upon this “Max Shine” stuff. Figured I’d give it a shot and see what all the fuss was about. Here’s how it went down.
Getting Started
First things first, I washed my car. Just a regular wash, nothing fancy. I made sure to get all the dirt and grime off, you know, the usual stuff. I used a basic car soap and a wash mitt. I’m always extra careful at this stage, make sure don’t have any dirty things left on the car’s paint.
Applying the Max Shine
After drying the car – and I mean really drying it, with a microfiber towel – I grabbed the Max Shine bottle. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much. I followed the instructions, which were pretty straightforward. I applied a small amount to a foam applicator pad. Didn’t want to overdo it, of course.

Then, I started working it onto the car’s paint, section by section. I went in small, overlapping circles, just like they show you in those detailing videos. It felt pretty smooth, and it spread easily enough. No major arm workout required, which was a plus.
Buffing It Out
Once I had covered a section, I waited a few minutes – the bottle said something about letting it haze. Then, I took a clean microfiber towel and buffed it off. This is where I started to see the difference.
Seriously, the paint looked noticeably shinier. It wasn’t like a blinding, mirror-like shine, but it was definitely there. It felt smoother to the touch, too. Kind of like the paint was… protected, or something.
The Final Result
I kept going, section by section, until I had done the whole car. It took a bit of time, but it wasn’t too bad. And honestly, the result was pretty impressive. The car looked way better than before. It had this nice, deep gloss to it. Even my neighbor noticed and asked if I’d gotten a new paint job!
My Two Cents
Overall, I’d say this Max Shine stuff is pretty decent. It’s not magic, but it definitely adds some shine and makes the paint feel smoother. Would I use it again? Yeah, probably. It’s easy enough to apply, and the results are good enough for the effort. Just don’t expect it to fix scratches or anything like that. It’s more of a maintenance thing, I guess.

And That’s all, hope my experience can help you!
