So, I was messing around with the New York Times Crossword the other day, you know, the one from September 13th or 14th, I can’t quite remember. I got stuck on this clue: “Dynamic stance”. I scratched my head for a while, thinking about all sorts of things, but nothing seemed to fit.
I started browsing the internet to see what it could be. I looked up a bunch of websites, but I couldn’t find anything for a while. I kept searching and looking and searching. I found so many different things, like one website saying “we would like to thank you” or another one saying “the answer is below”. I read so many of these clues, and they all had different stuff to say.
After a good chunk of time, I finally stumbled upon some websites that seemed to have the answer. Some were all like, “We have 40 possible answers!” which was a bit much, if you ask me. But then I saw it, the answer that made sense: “ACTIONPOSE”. That was it!

- Persistence pays off: I spent a decent amount of time on this, but I didn’t give up. It was a bit of a slog, but I got there in the end.
- Don’t get overwhelmed: Some sites had so many possible answers that it was hard to know where to start. But I just took it one step at a time.
- Sometimes, the answer is simpler than you think: “ACTIONPOSE” seems so obvious now, but it took me a while to get there.
What I Learned
Anyway, that’s my little adventure with the “Dynamic stance” crossword clue. It was a bit of a head-scratcher, but I got it figured out eventually. Hopefully, this will help someone else out there who’s stuck on the same clue!
