Okay, so, you won’t believe what just happened. I’ve been following the Dodgers all season, right? And let me tell you, it’s been a rollercoaster.
Started the season kinda rough, not gonna lie. We lost a few games we should have won, and I was starting to get worried. But then, bam! They hit their stride. Started winning game after game. Seeing them climb the rankings was awesome. Every win, I’d call up my buddy, and we’d just be like, “Did you SEE that game?!”
Then the playoffs came. Man, the tension was thick. Each game was a nail-biter. I watched every single one, of course. My heart was pounding out of my chest. Cheering at the screen like a maniac, probably scared the neighbors a few times.

The NLCS
And the NLCS? Don’t even get me started. Tommy Edman, that guy is a legend. Seriously. He comes out of nowhere and becomes the MVP. 13 RBIs in the postseason? Are you kidding me? I mean, they named him the NLCS MVP. He totally deserved it. The dude was on fire! Every time he was up to bat, I knew something good was gonna happen.
- NLCS MVP: Tommy Edman
- Postseason RBIs: 13 (that’s crazy!)
World Series Game 5
Then, the World Series against the Yankees. Classic matchup, right? Every game was intense, but Game 5… oh boy, Game 5. We were down 5-0 by the fourth inning. I was devastated. Thought it was over. I almost turned off the TV, I’m not even gonna lie. My stomach was in knots.
But then, the fifth inning happened. The Yankees just… melted down. It was unbelievable. Three errors! Three! It was like watching a slow-motion train wreck, but in a good way, you know? We started scoring, and the energy just shifted. Suddenly, we were back in it. And we won. 7-6, we won! After being down five runs, they pulled it off. They actually did it.
I was jumping up and down, screaming. My voice was hoarse the next day. It was one of the most amazing comebacks I’ve ever seen.
They Won the Whole Damn Thing!
The Dodgers are World Series champions. Eighth time. I watched them win it all. It was an incredible journey. I’m still buzzing from it. Just wanted to share my excitement with everyone. What a season! What a team!
