Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this idea for a slogan, and I kept coming back to these three words: Grit, Growth, and Gratitude. I’m calling it the “Three G’s” thing. Let me walk you through how I played with this and what I ended up with.
First Crack: Just the Words
At first, I just wrote the words down. You know, brainstorming style:
- Grit
- Growth
- Gratitude
I liked them. They felt… solid. But it wasn’t a slogan yet, just a list.

Adding Some Action
Then I thought, “These need to be more active.” So I started messing with verbs, trying to make them punchier:
- Embrace Grit
- Pursue Growth
- Cultivate Gratitude
Better, right? It felt a little more like something you could put on a poster or, you know, live by. I also tried the action verb.
- Embracing Grit
- Pursuing Growth
- Cultivating Gratitude
Making it Personal
But it still felt a little… generic. I wanted it to feel like my thing, not just something I pulled off the internet. So I tried making it more of a personal statement:
- With Grit, I find strength.
- With Growth, I seek my peak.
- With Gratitude, I find peace every day.
or
- I choose to embrace grit.
- I commit to pursuing growth.
- I practice cultivating gratitude.
I even experimented a little bit with “Finding Strength through Grit”,”Seeking Potential with Growth”,”Living Peacefully with Gratitude”.It is more like a description for myself.

The “Aha!” Moment
Then it hit me. It needed to be shorter, snappier. More like a motto. Something I could repeat to myself when things get tough. And finally, I got this:
Grit. Growth. Gratitude.
Yep, I went back to the beginning, But now, it feels different. It’s not just a list; it’s a declaration. It’s simple, memorable, and it feels * three simple words can represent a whole mindset.
So, that’s my little journey with the “Three G’s” slogan. Started with a simple idea, played around with it, and ended up with something that I think really works. It’s amazing how much power three little words can hold, huh?
