OK, so, I had this thing I wanted to do, find this guy, Darren Nedd, in New York. I don’t know, it just seemed like something I should do, you know?
First, I fired up my laptop. You know the drill, opened the browser and started with a simple search. Just typed in “Darren Nedd New York”.
- The usual stuff popped up. There’s this LinkedIn page, but it’s all kinda vague, just says he’s in the United States. Not super helpful, but it’s a start, right?
- Then I checked out Facebook. Found a Darren Nedd there, but who knows if it’s the right guy? It’s Facebook, everyone’s on there. It says you can connect with him, but I didn’t bother. I wasn’t feeling to become friends with a stranger.
- I stumbled upon some news site or something. Just general stuff, nothing about my guy, Darren.
- There’s some form, looks official, but it’s all about if you hold or held some position. Didn’t seem relevant to my little quest, so I skipped that.
- Next, I found something about a student at City University of New York, Baruch College. Could be him, but it’s just a name, no real details.
- Then there’s this site that has contact info. It lists a Darren Lee in a bunch of places in New York, like Brooklyn and Bronx. It might be him, but Lee? is his middle name? I don’t know for sure, seems like a common name.
- I even saw something about a musical, “Maybe Happy Ending”. Some guy named Darren Criss was in it. Cool, but not what I’m looking for.
- Last thing was about a doctor, Darren M. Smith. He’s a big shot in aesthetic surgery in New York City. Fancy, but again, not my Darren, I guess.
So, after all that, I’m not really sure if I found the right Darren Nedd. I got a bunch of leads, but nothing solid. It’s like, you know when you’re looking for something specific, but you just keep finding other stuff? That’s what it felt like.

The Conclusion
Anyway, I spent a good chunk of time on this, and it’s kinda like, did I really find him? I’m not sure. Maybe I’ll try again another day. Or maybe not. It’s all good, though. It was just one of those things, you know? You get an idea, you follow it for a bit, and sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn’t. That’s life, I guess.
