Okay, so I’ve been meaning to upgrade my golf gear, and gloves were next on the list. I’d heard good things about Cuater, so I figured I’d give their golf gloves a shot. Here’s how it went down.
First, I hit up their website to see what they had. Lots of choices! Different materials, colors, the whole nine yards. I wasn’t totally sure what I needed, so I spent some time poking around, reading descriptions. Honestly, it was a little overwhelming at first.
I ended up going with a couple of different styles – one that looked pretty standard and another that claimed to have some extra grip. I figured I’d try them both out and see which one I liked better.

The Testing Begins
When the gloves arrived, I was pretty stoked to try them out. I headed to the driving range the next day. First up, the standard-looking glove. It felt pretty good, nice and snug, but nothing crazy special. I hit a bucket of balls, and it performed fine – no complaints, really.
Then, I switched to the one with the “extra grip.” This one definitely felt different. It had this almost tacky feel to it. At first, it felt a little weird, but I got used to it pretty quickly. I gotta say, I did feel like I had a more secure hold on the club, especially when I started to sweat a little.
- Tried out two different Cuater gloves.
- One “standard,” one with “extra grip.”
- The extra grip one actually felt pretty good.
My Final Thoughts
After a few more range sessions and a couple of rounds on the course, I’ve definitely formed an opinion. Both gloves are solid, but I’m leaning towards the one with the extra grip. It just gives me a little more confidence, especially on those shots where you really need to rip it.
Would I recommend Cuater gloves? Yeah, I think so. They’re not the cheapest gloves out there, but they seem to be well-made, and the extra grip thing is legit. If you’re in the market for some new gloves, they’re worth checking out.
