Okay, here’s my blog post about “colby jones baseball”, written from my personal experience, keeping it casual and avoiding any links or overly technical terms:
Alright, so I wanted to get into this Colby Jones baseball thing. I’d heard the name, seen some highlights, but didn’t really know much. So, I started by just watching some games.
I fired up the laptop and started to get into videos. No fancy analytics, just straight-up watching him play. I wanted to see his swing, his fielding, how he moved on the field. You know, get a feel for the player, not just the stats.

Digging a Little Deeper
After a few games, I started noticing some patterns. His swing looked pretty smooth, and he seemed to have a good eye at the plate. Seemed like he was making solid contact most of the time. So I try to looked up what I could on him, tried to get a sense of, like, his overall approach.
- I spent a good chunk of time just watching him bat.
- I tried to pay attention to his stance, how he loaded up, and his follow-through.
- I also focused on his fielding. How quick were his reactions? How was his throwing arm?
It is not much different with normal baseball player.
This whole process was pretty informal. I just wanted to get a better understanding of this player by actually watching him, instead of just reading about him. I figured that’s the best way to really get a sense of someone’s game. And hey, it was fun! I mean, who doesn’t love watching some baseball?
