Alright, so I’ve been messing around with fantasy football for a while now, and this year I decided to really dig into some player analysis. One name that kept popping up was Chuba Hubbard. So, I figured, let’s do a deep dive and see what this guy’s all about.
First thing I did was check out some basic stats. You know, rushing yards, touchdowns, receptions – the usual stuff. I looked at his college numbers, too, just to get a feel for his history. I think it is important.
Then, I watched some game footage. No fancy tools here, just good old YouTube. I wanted to see how he runs, his vision, how he breaks tackles – that kind of thing. I spent a good chunk of time just observing, taking notes on what I saw.

Next, I started looking at some projections from various fantasy football sites. I compared them, saw where the experts were ranking him, and tried to figure out why they were ranking him that way. Was there something I was missing? Some hidden gem they were seeing?
I also checked out some articles and podcasts. I always think that could make us get more information. Listened to what other people were saying about Hubbard. Some were high on him, some were low. I tried to take it all in, but, you know, with a grain of salt. Everyone’s got an opinion.
After all that, I started to form my own opinion. I weighed the pros and cons, looked at his potential role in the offense, considered the other players around him, and then…made a gut call. It’s fantasy football, right? Sometimes you gotta go with your gut.
- Started with basic stats: rushing, receiving, touchdowns.
- Checked college stats for background.
- Watched game footage to see his running style.
- Compared fantasy projections from different sources.
- Read articles and listened to podcasts for other opinions.
- Formed my own opinion based on all the information.
- Made a decision!
In the end it is my decision about whether to draft him, stash him on my bench, or leave him for someone else. It’s all part of the fun, right?
