Okay, here is my blog post about CABA Baseball Colorado.
Alright, folks, let’s talk about my adventure with the Colorado Amateur Baseball Association, or CABA, as it’s more commonly known. I’ve been playing baseball for a good chunk of my life, and I gotta say, joining CABA was one of the best decisions I’ve made. So, I’m gonna walk you through how I got into it and what my experience has been like.
Getting Started
First off, I had to figure out how to get my foot in the door. I started by checking out the CABA website, looking for any info on tryouts or team openings. I found out that they have different age divisions, which was pretty cool, ’cause it meant I could play with guys around my own age. I signed up for the 18+ division, since I wanted something competitive, but, you know, I’m not getting any younger.

Tryouts and Team Selection
Next up, tryouts. I showed up at the field, feeling a little nervous, not gonna lie. There were a lot of other guys there, all hoping to make a team. We did some drills, like batting practice, fielding, and some running. I gave it my all, trying to show the coaches what I could do. It was a bit of a grind, but I felt pretty good about how I performed.
After a couple of weeks of waiting, I got the call – I made a team! I was stoked. I joined the team, met my new teammates, and we started practicing together. Getting to know the guys was a blast. We had players from all different backgrounds, but we all shared that love for baseball.
The Season Begins
The season finally rolled around, and let me tell you, it was a rollercoaster. We had some amazing wins, some tough losses, and everything in between. One of the highlights was when I hit a walk-off single to win a game. The feeling was unreal, and my teammates went wild. Those are the moments you live for, you know?
The CABA Community
One thing I really appreciate about CABA is the sense of community. It’s not just about the games; it’s about the people. I’ve made some great friends through CABA, guys I probably wouldn’t have met otherwise. We hang out off the field, grab beers, and just enjoy each other’s company. It’s like a big baseball family.
Tournaments and Championships
CABA also hosts a bunch of tournaments throughout the year, which are always a blast. They’re super competitive, and you get to play against teams from all over the state. We made it to the championship game in one tournament, and even though we didn’t win, it was an incredible experience. The atmosphere was electric, and it really brought us closer as a team.

Wrapping Up
So, that’s my journey with CABA Baseball Colorado in a nutshell. It’s been a wild ride, full of ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. If you’re thinking about joining a baseball league, I highly recommend checking out CABA. It’s a great way to stay active, meet new people, and keep that competitive spirit alive. Trust me, you won’t regret it.
Hope you guys enjoyed hearing about my experience. Catch you in the next post!
