Okay, so I saw this “formula quick lift jack” thing online and thought, “Yeah, right, sounds too good to be true.” But my old jack was on its last leg, always slow and a real pain. Figured I’d give this new one a shot. Nothing to lose, right?
First off, I unboxed it. It looked pretty solid, not like some cheapo thing that would break after a couple uses. The instructions were, well, let’s just say they weren’t the clearest. But hey, I’ve put together enough flat-pack furniture in my life to figure most things out.
Setting it Up
- I made sure the area around my car was clear. Safety first, you know? Don’t want to trip over anything while messing with a car.
- Then, I found the jacking points on my car’s frame. Didn’t want to accidentally damage anything by putting the jack in the wrong spot.
- I carefully positioned the jack under the jacking point, making sure it was centered and stable.
Now for the moment of truth – the lifting! I started pumping the handle, and wow, it went up way faster than my old jack. I mean, noticeably faster. My old one, I’d be pumping forever just to get a little lift. This one, just a few pumps and the car was up in the air.

I did my tire change, which, let’s be honest, is always a bit of a chore, but at least the jacking part was super easy. Then, I slowly released the valve to lower the car back down. Smooth as butter. No sudden drops or anything scary.
Honestly, I’m pretty impressed. It’s definitely quicker than my old jack, and it felt sturdy and reliable. I was a bit skeptical at first, given the ‘formula’ name and all, but it actually worked! It made the whole tire-changing process much less of a hassle.
I packed it away in my trunk. it fits perfectly.
I’m giving this thing a thumbs up. So far, so good. Will have to see how it holds up over time, but for now, I’m a happy camper.
