Okay, so today I wanna talk about something that got me all hyped up recently – the whole Brian Kendrick and Bryan Danielson thing in AEW. Man, what a ride it’s been! I remember when I first heard about Kendrick being released by WWE, I was like, “Alright, where’s he gonna pop up next?” Then, boom! AEW it was. But it wasn’t just a simple signing, was it?
First, they teased us, you know? We saw Kendrick backstage, hanging out with the guys, teaching at the Nightmare Factory. Everyone’s thinking, “He’s gonna be a coach, a mentor, helping the young bloods.” And that was cool, that was really cool. I respect that. But deep down, I think all of us wrestling fans had this little hope, this dream of seeing him step back into the ring.
The Danielson Connection
Then came Bryan Danielson. This guy, he’s a legend, right? One of the best in the world, no doubt. He’s in AEW, tearing it up, having these killer matches. And who does he mention in one of his promos? Brian Kendrick. He starts talking about their history, their battles, the respect they have for each other. My brain went into overdrive. “Are they gonna…could they…?”

I started digging, man. I went through old forums, watched old matches, anything I could find about Kendrick and Danielson. Their story is awesome! They were like, two of the best technical wrestlers on the indies back in the day, pushing each other to be better.
It was exciting to think about what they would do. There was a lot of chatter. They were going to face off again. They said Bryan would be his first match in AEW. It was what everyone wanted.
The Controversy
Suddenly, all that I had read about what these two could do together was gone. I started hearing about old comments Kendrick had made. I started seeing these stories pop up everywhere. And just like that, Tony Khan announced that he wouldn’t be wrestling in AEW.
I watched as many tried to defend him, while others condemned him. There was no way this match was happening. This was a major disappointment for me. It was disappointing for a lot of people. I get it. We are all human and make mistakes.
Kendrick went on to apologize, and you could tell he was being sincere. It is a shame how this played out. It would have been cool to see them wrestle again. I respect Tony Khan for sticking to his guns, and I respect Kendrick for owning up to his mistakes.

So, yeah, that’s my take on the whole Brian Kendrick and Bryan Danielson saga in AEW. It was a rollercoaster of emotions, from excitement to disappointment. But hey, that’s wrestling, right? It’s unpredictable, it’s dramatic, and it always keeps you guessing.
