Okay, so, today I really wanted to dive into this thing called “Big BL.” At first, I was like, what the heck is that? But then I saw all these posts about it, and it’s like a big thing now. So I’m gonna do this from beginning and see if it is what i think it is.
First, I started reading about what Big BL actually is. Found out it’s short for “Big Boys’ Love.” Apparently, it’s this whole genre that’s been blowing up. It’s got stories and characters and all that, and it’s apparently popular. So, I decided to just start watching some of these series.
I picked a couple that came up a lot when I was searching. I spent the whole day watching. I watched from the start and see each actor, you know? It was kind of a lot to take in at first, to be honest. I mean, these stories are just so intense, with all these feelings flying around. These guys in the series, they go through so much together, with all the story development and emotional parts, and some people like it for cultural influence.
And the way they show their love and all, it’s like a roller coaster, you know? One minute they’re all happy and stuff, and the next, it’s like the world is ending. It’s crazy. I realized that each series has their own vibe to it. I watched three of them in one go. Man, it really made me use a whole pack of tissues.
After watching, I went back online to see what other people were saying about these series. I found all these comments and posts from fans, talking about their favorite parts and characters. Some people are really into it. I can see how people get super attached to these stories and these characters. It’s like they become a part of your life or something. These people were all creating art and content around it, so, like, it started as a Japanese manga but now is a whole industry.
Then I started thinking about how Big BL is affecting, like, society and stuff. It’s interesting because it’s not just entertainment, you know? It’s like, it’s making people think and talk about love and relationships in a different way. It is not just entertainment, it is a cultural shift. It is not just in Asia, it is all around the world. Pretty wild when you think about it.
So yeah, that’s been my day. Diving deep into the world of Big BL. It’s been a lot, but it’s also been really interesting. I get why people are so into it now. It’s this whole other world with its own stories, fans, and everything. Pretty cool, actually.
