Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “anri pickleball female” thing pop up, and I got curious. I mean, I play a little pickleball myself, nothing serious, just with friends at the park. But this seemed like a whole different level. So I decided to dive in and see what it was all about.
First, I just did a basic search. Typed it into the search bar, you know, the usual. And wow, a bunch of stuff came up. Videos, articles, you name it. Seems like this Anri is a pretty big deal in the pickleball world. She’s got this killer serve, and her court coverage is insane.
Then, I spent, like, an hour just watching videos. Seriously, I got sucked in. This woman is a beast! The way she moves, the power she puts behind the ball…it’s impressive. I even tried to mimic some of her moves in my living room (don’t tell my husband, I almost knocked over a lamp!).

Next, I tried to find some drills. I figured, maybe I could actually learn something from this, not just watch in awe. I found a few focusing on dinking – you know, those soft shots near the net. Apparently, Anri is a master at those, too. Of course.
My Little Practice Session
- Warm-up: Started with some basic stretches, arm circles, that kind of thing. Gotta avoid injuries, right?
- Dinking Drills: I grabbed my paddle and a ball and just tried to practice those soft, controlled shots. My wall became my practice partner. It wasn’t pretty, but hey, gotta start somewhere.
- Trying (and Failing) at that Serve: I gave Anri’s serve a shot, and let me tell you, it’s WAY harder than it looks. I think I hit the ceiling more times than I hit the “court” (aka, my living room).
Finally, I did not become a pickleball pro overnight, sadly, however, I have a new appreciation for the sport, and for Anri’s skills. It was cool to see what’s possible with some serious dedication and practice. Maybe one day I’ll be able to hit a dink shot without looking like a total goofball. Maybe.
