Alright, so I decided to dive into rating AC Milan players, you know, just for fun and to see if I could put my football knowledge to the test. Here’s how it all went down.
Getting Started
First things first, I needed a list of players. I mean, you can’t rate players if you don’t know who they are, right? So, I grabbed the most recent squad list I could find. Just a simple roster with names, no big deal.
Watching the Games
Then came the fun part – actually watching the games! I made sure to catch as many matches as I could, both live and replays. I wanted to get a real good feel for how each player performed, not just relying on highlights or what other people were saying. I paid close attention to what they did. I did that for a lot of games.

Taking Notes and Analysing
- Consistency: Was this a one-off performance, or do they bring it every game?
- Key Moments: Did they score a crucial goal, make a game-saving tackle, or maybe, did they mess up big time?
- Overall Impact: How did their presence on the field affect the team’s overall performance? Did they lift the team up or drag them down?
I jotted down notes for pretty much every player I saw in action, scribbling down quick thoughts during the games and then expanding on them later.
Figuring Out the Ratings
Now, for the actual ratings.I used a simple 1-10 scale, 10 is a good one. Nothing fancy, just a straightforward way to rank the players based on what I saw.
I went through my notes, player by player, and started assigning numbers.
I started giving out scores, trying to be fair, but also relying on my gut feeling. I tried to rating every player, from the star to the team’s overall performance.

Review and Adjust
After the first pass, I went back and reviewed everything. I compared players to each other, asking myself questions like, “Was Player A really that much better than Player B?” I tweaked some ratings here and there, trying to make the whole thing as objective as possible, even though it’s ultimately just my opinion.
The Final Product
Finally, I had my player ratings! It was a fun little project, and it definitely made me appreciate the game even more. I got to see how each player contributes in their own way, and it’s cool to have my own personalized take on the team’s performance.
