Alright folks, let me tell you about this “bullseye meme” thing I messed around with today. Saw it floating around, looked kinda fun, so I figured, why not give it a shot?
First thing I did was Google “bullseye meme template”. Found a bunch of blank ones, picked the one that looked the easiest to work with. Saved it to my desktop, nice and simple.
Next up, brainstorming. This took a little while. The whole point is to show how you gradually narrow down your choices, right? So I started thinking about stuff I’m into. Like, super broad stuff at first.

- Video games
- Food
- Music
Okay, now we’re getting somewhere. I wanted something relatable, something kinda funny. So I started narrowing down each category.
For video games, I thought about different genres.
- RPGs
- Shooters
- Strategy games
Then I narrowed it down to RPG. What kind of RPG I am into.
- JRPG
- Western RPG
- MMORPG
Next step, I fired up my image editor. Nothing fancy, just a basic one I’ve been using for years. Imported the bullseye template. Then I started adding text to each ring.
Outer ring was the broadest: “Video Games.” Next ring in: “RPG”. Then “JRPG”. And finally, right in the bullseye, I put: “Final Fantasy VII.”

Font choice matters, you know? I went with something bold and easy to read. Made sure the text fit nicely in each ring. This took a bit of tweaking.
Once I was happy with the text, I added some color. Nothing crazy, just some simple gradients to make it pop. Used a color picker to grab colors from the Final Fantasy VII logo for the bullseye. Thought that was a nice touch.
Last thing I did was add a little watermark with my name. Can’t have people stealing my amazing bullseye meme, right? Exported it as a JPG, ready to share.
All in all, it was a fun little project. Took maybe an hour, start to finish. Not exactly groundbreaking stuff, but it was a good way to kill some time and be creative. Plus, now I have a sweet meme to share with my friends.
