Alright, so lemme tell you about this whole “Aaron Judge Meet and Greet 2024” thing I tried to pull off. It was a rollercoaster, lemme tell ya.
First off, I decided, like, way back in December that 2024 was gonna be the year I finally met Judge. I’m a HUGE fan, always have been. So, I started Googling, scouring the internet for any hint of meet and greets, appearances, anything! It was like a full-time job, honestly.
I found a bunch of fan forums and stuff, and that’s where I learned the hard truth: official meet and greets with Judge are rare as hen’s teeth. And when they DO happen, they’re usually tied to some charity thing or a private event, and the tickets are like, crazy expensive. Think thousands of dollars. Yeah, no.

But I’m not one to give up easily. So, I shifted my focus. I started tracking the Yankees’ schedule like a hawk. Spring training, regular season, EVERYTHING. I figured, maybe I could catch him at a hotel, or outside the stadium, something like that.
Spring training seemed like the best bet. So, I booked a cheap flight to Tampa, Florida, and found a motel that was, uh, “budget-friendly.” Let’s just say it wasn’t the Ritz. I spent, like, five days hanging around the Yankees’ training facility. Woke up super early every morning, waited for hours…saw a LOT of other players, but no Judge.
I tried to be strategic. Asked around, listened to what other fans were saying, tried to figure out his routine. Someone said he usually signs autographs after practice on Tuesdays, so I made sure I was there bright and early that Tuesday. Still nothing.
Honestly, it was kinda soul-crushing. I started to think it just wasn’t gonna happen. But then, on my last day, I decided to just go to the team hotel. Figured it was a long shot, but worth a try.
I waited in the lobby for, like, three hours. Nurses came and went. Then, suddenly, BAM! There he was. Aaron Judge himself, walking right through the lobby. I almost choked. I managed to stammer out something about being a huge fan and he actually stopped, smiled, and signed my baseball! I even snapped a quick pic. It was blurry as hell, but I didn’t even care!

I didn’t get a fancy “meet and greet” with a professional photographer and all that jazz. But I met Aaron Judge. He signed my ball. And that’s all that mattered. It was a grind, it was stressful, and it cost me a small fortune in flights and motel bills. But it was worth every penny.
So, moral of the story? Official meet and greets are tough to come by. But with a little persistence (and maybe a bit of luck), you can still make your dreams come true. Just don’t expect it to be easy!
- Do your research: Know the team’s schedule and potential appearance locations.
- Be patient: You might have to wait a long time.
- Be polite: Don’t be aggressive or annoying.
- Be prepared: Have something for him to sign.
- Don’t give up: Keep trying, and you might just get lucky.
That’s all I got! Good luck to anyone else trying to meet their heroes!
