Alright, so I recently went through the process of gathering up all the SEC team logos for 2024. Needed them for a little project I was messing with, just wanted the most current versions.
First thing I did, obviously, was hop onto my computer and start searching around. Just used my usual search engine, typed in things like “SEC team logos 2024,” “current SEC football logos,” that kind of thing. Pretty straightforward start.
Honestly, finding the right ones, the official 2024 versions, took a bit more clicking than I expected. You get a lot of results, right? Some are old logos, some are fan variations, some are low-quality images. Had to sift through a bit.

Getting The Actual Logos
I spent some time checking out various sports sites and sometimes poked around team athletic pages, trying to verify which ones were the real deal for this year. It wasn’t like one single place had a perfect, downloadable package of all 16. So, it was more of a hunt and gather mission.
Here’s basically what I did for each team:
- Searched specifically for “[Team Name] official logo 2024”.
- Looked for high-resolution versions. PNGs with transparent backgrounds were my preference.
- Compared logos from different sources to make sure I had the correct one.
- Downloaded the best quality version I could find for each team.
Organizing The Collection
Once I felt like I had grabbed a decent version for every team, I dumped them all into a single folder on my desktop. Just a messy pile at first.
Then, I went through them one by one. Opened each file, checked the clarity. Made sure none were weirdly cropped or distorted. Renamed the files so they were consistent, like “[Team Name] Logo *”. That makes them easier to find later.
For my project, I needed them to be roughly similar in size, so I did some basic resizing on a few of them. Nothing fancy, just used simple image software.

It took a little chunk of time, maybe an hour or so, just finding, verifying, downloading, and organizing everything. A bit tedious, but you gotta do it right if you want a clean set.
So yeah, ended up with a neat little folder containing all 16 SEC team logos for the 2024 season. Mission accomplished. Got what I needed in the end.
