Okay, let’s talk about how I went down this rabbit hole today.
So, I saw the name “Grace Charis” popping up here and there, you know how it is online. Curiosity got the better of me, like it usually does. My first step, naturally, was just firing up the old search engine. Typed it in, saw a bunch of stuff immediately.
Lots of pictures, social media profiles, the usual stuff you find for people who are kinda known online. I clicked around a bit, mostly image searches and checking out the main profiles that showed up. You get a feel for who someone is, or at least the image they put out there.

Digging a Little Deeper
Then I started thinking, okay, what’s the actual ‘practice’ here? For me, it’s usually about seeing how information spreads, what platforms are dominant for certain types of content or personalities. So, I wasn’t just looking at the content, but how it’s presented and where.
- Checked different platforms – you know, the big ones, Insta, TikTok, maybe Twitter. See what the vibe is on each.
- Looked at fan communities or forums, if any existed. Sometimes Reddit has threads. It’s interesting to see the discussions people have.
- Tried varying my search terms slightly, adding words like “influencer,” “golfer” (which seemed to come up a lot), or “social media.”
It’s kind of amazing how quickly you can get sucked into just browsing profile after profile, link after link. You start with one thing, and then the algorithm feeds you something similar, and then something else. An hour can disappear just like that. It wasn’t really about finding one specific thing, more about observing the whole online personality ecosystem, I guess.
Honestly, a lot of what you find is just the same stuff recycled everywhere. Lots of repetition. You see the same photos or video clips posted on different sites, often without much context. It makes you think about how much is real and how much is just curated performance.
At the end of it, my main takeaway wasn’t really about Grace Charis specifically. It was more a reminder of how easy it is to get lost searching for things online, and how the internet structures fame and attention these days. It’s a weird landscape. So yeah, that was my little exploration for the day. Just following the digital breadcrumbs, seeing where they led.
