Alright, guys, let’s talk about my little adventure with Spain’s team in FIFA 21 Career Mode. I’ve always been a fan of their tiki-taka style, so I decided to take the reins and see if I could bring them back to their glory days.
Getting Started
First things first, I jumped into Career Mode and selected Spain as my team. I spent a good chunk of time scouting the existing squad. You know, checking out their stats, potential, and all that jazz. I noticed right away that the team was a mix of experienced veterans and some exciting young prospects.
- I was stoked to see guys like Sergio Ramos still holding it down in defense.
- Midfield had quality with Thiago and Koke.
- But I was really pumped about the youngsters like Pedri and Ansu Fati – these guys have crazy potential!
Tweaking the Formation and Tactics
Next up, I headed over to the tactics screen. I’m a big believer in possession-based football, so I tweaked the formation to a 4-3-3, focusing on short passing and quick movement. I wanted my team to dominate the ball and suffocate the opposition.

I also spent some time adjusting the player instructions. I told my full-backs to join the attack, instructed my midfielders to play one-twos, and encouraged my wingers to cut inside and create chances. I wanted that fluid, attacking style that Spain is known for.
Diving into the Transfer Market
Now, even though Spain had a decent squad, I knew I needed to bring in some fresh blood. My scouts Identifid that the main target area is the defense, and I made some moves in the transfer market. Sold a few aging players to get fund, and then make some young and energetic players joined to replace them.
Playing the Matches
Finally, it was time to hit the pitch! The first few matches were a bit rocky as the team adjusted to my tactics. But once they got the hang of it, we started playing some beautiful football. We were dominating possession, creating chances, and scoring some amazing goals.
Seeing Pedri and Fati develop into world-class players was incredibly satisfying. And watching the team play with that signature Spanish flair was a joy.
The Outcome
So, after a couple of seasons, We’ve built a very excellent and stable team. And the experience was awesome.

I’m not gonna say it was all smooth sailing, there were definitely some tough matches and frustrating moments. But that’s what makes Career Mode so addictive, right? Anyway, that was my experience trying to make Spain champions again in FIFA 21.
