Okay, so I wanted to figure out who the best pro golfers are from Buffalo, NY. I’ve heard there are a few, but I didn’t really know where to start, so I just started digging.
Starting My Search
First, I fired up Google. Just a basic search, you know? I typed in “top pro golfers from buffalo ny” and hoped for the best. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting a perfect, ready-made list, but it’s a start.
Filtering the Noise
The search results were, well, a mixed bag. Lots of general golf sites, some local news articles, and a few names kept popping up. So, I started clicking through, trying to filter out the noise. I ignored anything that wasn’t specifically about Buffalo-area golfers.
Making a List
I grabbed a notepad and started jotting down names that seemed promising. Mostly, I was looking for folks who had played on major tours like the PGA or LPGA. A few names I recognized, some I didn’t.
Digging Deeper
Once I had a handful of names, I went back to Google. This time, I searched for each golfer individually, like “[Golfer’s Name] PGA Tour.” That helped me find more detailed information – their career stats, any wins, that sort of thing.
It was taking a little time going back and forth, it’s not like there’s one master list, and the PGA’s site wasn’t super helpful for finding players by their hometown.
Checking Social
i also checked on player profiles and social media like X and Instagram, when I can find their profiles, to find out how many tournaments they play, and how they do.
My Findings (So Far!)
- The Research Continues:Honestly, this is still a work in progress. I’ve got a few solid names, but I’m sure there are more out there. It’s tougher than I thought!
I’m gonna keep digging, and as I learn more, I’ll probably update this. It’s kind of a fun little project, and I’m learning a lot about the golf scene in Buffalo along the way!
