Okay, so I wanted to get into the whole NFL season hype, and I figured a good way to do that was to dive into the hashtags, especially for the NFC East. It’s always a fun division to follow, so let’s see how I did.
Digging into the Hashtag Game
First, I grabbed a piece of paper and jotted down the teams: Cowboys, Giants, Eagles, and Commanders. Pretty straightforward, right?
Then, I started brainstorming some obvious hashtags. Things like #DallasCowboys, #NYGiants, #FlyEaglesFly, and #HTTC (that’s the Commanders’ one, took me a second to remember!). I wrote all those down.

Time for Some Trial and Error
Next up, I jumped on to, well, the platform that used to be called Twitter. You know the one. I started typing in those basic hashtags to see what came up. Were they popular? Were people actually using them?
- #DallasCowboys-Yep tons of fans using that.
- #CowboysNation-Also another popular one.
- #Giants-Seemed a bit too general, so I added “NY” to get #NYGiants. Much better.
- #FlyEaglesFly – That one was definitely trending.
- #HTTC – This is the official one, lots of engagement.
I spent a good hour just scrolling, seeing what other hashtags people were using alongside the main ones. I found some cool variations, like player-specific ones (you know, like #DakAttack if he has a great game, or whatever) and some more general ones for game days.
My Little Hashtag Collection
After all that, I ended up with a pretty decent list. I feel like I’ve got a good handle on how to follow the NFC East conversation now. It’s not rocket science, just takes a little digging!
It was actually pretty fun. Made me feel a little more connected to the whole football frenzy.
