Okay, here’s my blog post about getting a Brazilian Blowout in Orlando:
So, I finally did it. I got a Brazilian Blowout. I’ve been thinking about it forever, and with summer coming up, I figured it was time to tame this frizz-bomb I call my hair. I live in Orlando, so humidity is basically my middle name.
Finding the Right Place
First things first, I had to find a salon. I didn’t want to trust just anyone with this. I hopped on my phone and started googling “brazilian blowout orlando,” “best brazilian blowout,” stuff like that. I read a ton of reviews, looked at before-and-after pictures on Instagram, the whole nine yards. I even checked out a few salons’ websites to see their vibe and pricing. It’s a bit of an investment, so I wanted to make sure I was going somewhere reputable.

I narrowed it down to a couple of places that looked promising and had good reviews, specially about the stylists’ experience with the treatment. I ended up picking one that was conveniently located and had a stylist who specialized in Brazilian Blowouts. Made my appointment, and boom – I was on my way to smoother hair.
The Big Day (My Hair Transformation!)
When I got to the salon, I was a little nervous, not gonna lie. My stylist, she was super chill and walked me through the whole process. We talked about my hair type (thick, coarse, and prone to frizz) and what I was hoping to achieve (sleek, manageable, and less styling time). She made me feel way more comfortable.
Here’s how it went down:
- Shampoo Time: First, she washed my hair with a special clarifying shampoo to get rid of any product buildup and open up the cuticles. It felt super clean, like squeaky clean.
- Application: Then, she carefully applied the Brazilian Blowout solution to my hair, section by section. It smelled a little… chemically, but nothing too crazy.
- Blow-Dry & Flat Iron: This is where the magic happened. She blow-dried my hair straight, and then meticulously flat-ironed it in small sections. This seals in the treatment and creates that smooth, glossy finish. This part took a while because I’ve got a LOT of hair.
- Rinse & Style: After the flat-ironing, she rinsed my hair again (no shampoo this time) and applied a conditioning mask. Then, she blow-dried it one last time, and… wow. My hair was SO straight and shiny. I could barely believe it was mine!
The Results (So Far, So Good!)
It’s been a few weeks since my appointment, and I’m seriously loving the results. My hair is way easier to manage. I can let it air dry without looking like a puffball, and when I do style it, it takes half the time. I am still using a sulfate-free shampoo that I bought there, just to keep it beautiful for a longer time. Blow-drying is a breeze, and my hair stays smooth even when it’s humid outside, I was so impressed. That is a total win in my book!
Overall, I’m super happy with my Brazilian Blowout. It was definitely worth the investment, and I’d recommend it to anyone who struggles with frizz and wants to simplify their hair routine. If you’re in Orlando and thinking about it, do your research, find a good salon, and go for it!
