Okay, so I’ve been seeing these “golf bracelets” all over TikTok and Instagram, and I finally decided to give it a try and make my own. I’m not gonna lie, it looked pretty intimidating at first, but it turned out to be way easier than I thought!
Gathering My Supplies
First things first, I needed to get my hands on some supplies. I went to the local craft store – you know, the one with all the beads and sparkly things. It was a little overwhelming, but I managed to find what I needed:
- Some strong, stretchy cord: I went with something clear so it wouldn’t be too obvious.
- Beads: This is where you can get creative! I chose some simple, round beads in a few different colors.
- A clasp: You know, the little thing that keeps the bracelet closed. I found a simple lobster clasp that seemed easy to use.
- Scissors: Pretty self-explanatory.
- Maybe some glue: Just in case I needed to secure any knots.
Getting Started
So, I cleared off my kitchen table and laid everything out. I started by cutting a length of the stretchy cord. I made it a bit longer than I thought I needed, just to be safe – you can always trim it later.

The Beading Process
This was the fun part! I started stringing the beads onto the cord. I didn’t really have a pattern in mind, I just went with what felt right, mixing and matching the colors. I made sure to leave a little bit of extra cord at each end for tying the knots.
Finishing Touches
Once I had all the beads on, it was time to attach the clasp. This was a little tricky, but I managed. I tied a knot at each end of the cord, attaching one part of the clasp to each knot. I made sure the knots were super tight, and I even added a tiny dab of glue just to be extra sure.
Then used the scissor cut the extra cord.
The Final Result!
And… that was it! I put the bracelet on, and it fit perfectly. I was actually pretty surprised at how good it looked. It’s definitely something I’ll be wearing a lot. And the best part? I made it myself! It was a fun little project, and I’m already thinking about making more with different beads and colors.
