Okay, so I wanted to get those sweet mobile hands working in my GTA San Andreas. You know, the ones from the mobile version of the game? Thought it would be a cool little visual upgrade. Here’s how I went about it.
First, I did some digging online. I figured someone else had to have tried this before. Turns out, I was right! I found a few different methods, but some seemed overly complicated, involving messing with game files I wasn’t comfortable touching.
The “Easy” Way (That Still Took Some Work)
I finally stumbled upon a method that involved using a mod. It was a bit * is what I did, step by step:
- Downloaded the mod. I found this mod on a GTA forum. It was a compressed file,so,downloaded it.
- Extracted files. Unzip the file.
- Copied files into game folder. After that I put those files in the game directory.
- Fingers crossed, I launched the game.
At first, nothing! I was bummed. Thought I’d messed something up. Then I realized, that mod has a requirement,I forgot it.I need download and install it first.
So, I had to repeat it and restart the game and *’s done.
It’s awesome!
It wasn’t the easiest thing in the world, and there were a few moments where I thought I’d bricked my game, but in the end, it was totally worth it. Those mobile hands look pretty slick!
