Alright, so I was browsing around the other day, and guess what caught my eye? This “Day of the Dead Dodgers” thing. Now, I’m not the biggest baseball fan out there, but I do love collecting unique items, and this one, man, it screamed “grab me!”
So, I started digging around. What’s this all about? Turns out, it’s this whole celebration, the “Day of the Dead,” mixed with some Los Angeles Dodgers swag. You know, the baseball team? They’ve got these bobbleheads—those little figures with the wobbly heads—but with a twist. They’re decked out in Day of the Dead style. Think skeletons, but all colorful and, dare I say, festive.
I went on this wild goose chase online. Hopped from one site to another. One place was talking about the spirit of the season and how these bobbleheads capture that. It had this skeleton figure all dressed up in Dodgers colors. I thought, “Okay, that’s pretty cool.” They were selling it for around 50 bucks. Not too shabby.

Then I stumbled upon another site. This one had a whole history of these Dodgers bobblehead giveaways. Apparently, it’s a thing. I didn’t even know! There were so many different designs, but the Day of the Dead ones really stood out.
Kept looking. Found another spot where they were bragging about having “brand-new, unused, unopened” ones. Like it’s some kind of treasure. Which, I guess, for collectors, it kinda is. They had all these brands and deals. It was a bit overwhelming, to be honest.
But here’s where it got even more interesting. It wasn’t just bobbleheads. Nope. There was a whole world of Day of the Dead home decor. Wall signs, flags, garden stuff. You name it, they had it. All with that same colorful, skeletal vibe. Who knew, right?
I ended up finding this particular bobblehead from 2019. It was this Los Angeles Dodgers one, celebrating the Day of the Dead. It had this special “SGA 2019” design. I don’t know what that means, but it sounded important. There were people selling these things, both new and used. Some were going for crazy high prices!
And then, there was this one guy selling a “Sugar Skull Hollywood Hills MLB Bobblehead.” It was a mouthful, but it looked amazing. Colorful, detailed, and just… different. I had to have it.

So, after all that searching and comparing, I finally pulled the trigger. Bought the darn thing. Now I’m just waiting for it to arrive. Can’t wait to see it in person. It’s gonna be the centerpiece of my little collection. Who would’ve thought a simple online search would lead to all this? The internet, man. It’s a wild place.
And that’s my story of how I got into this whole “Day of the Dead Dodgers” thing. It’s a bit random, I know, but hey, that’s what makes life interesting, right? You never know what you’re gonna find when you start exploring. And sometimes, those unexpected finds end up being the coolest things ever.
