Okay, so yesterday I tried this thing called “9-36-23-kp”. Sounds weird, right? I thought so too, but I was curious. Basically, it’s a super simple routine I found online. It is about some easy body move. Let me tell you how it went.
Getting Started
First, I found a quiet spot in my living room. No special equipment needed, just me and some floor space. I even put on some chill music to get in the zone.
The Moves
The “9” stands for 9 reps of something. I chose to do push-ups, ’cause, why not? I am not perfect on that, So, I pushed myself to do 9 push-ups. Not gonna lie, by the 7th one, my arms were feeling it!

- First thing: Do 9 push-ups.
Next up, the “36”. This was for seconds, and it was a plank. I got down on my forearms and toes, trying to keep my back straight. 36 seconds felt surprisingly long. My core was definitely shaking a bit towards the end!
- Second thing: Hold plank position for 36 seconds.
Then came “23”. This time, it was for squats. I stood with my feet shoulder-width apart and squatted down like I was sitting in an imaginary chair. 23 squats! My legs were burning a little, but it felt good.
- Third thing: Do 23 squats.
The “kp” Part
I thought that was it. The “kp” meant I could pick another simple exercise. Something I found online. I decided on doing some simple stretches, just to cool down a bit.I just pick some easy one to move my body.
- Last thing: Pick some easy move.
The Aftermath
Honestly, the whole thing took, like, less than 10 minutes. I felt a little energized afterward, not super exhausted, but definitely like I’d done something. It was a nice little break in my day.
I think I’ll try it again today. Maybe I’ll switch up the exercises, do some jumping jacks instead of push-ups, or crunches instead of squats. The cool thing is, it’s flexible. You can kind of make it your own. It’s not a crazy workout, but it’s a good way to get moving, especially if you’re short on time or just starting out. I even recommended that to my mom!
