So, I was messing around with some measurements the other day, and I got curious about how tall I am in inches. I’m 188cm, which I know is kinda tall, but I’ve never really bothered to figure it out in imperial units.
I started by, you know, just guessing. I figured I was somewhere around 6 feet, but I wasn’t sure exactly how many inches that would be. Time to hit the internet!
The Conversion
I did a quick search for “cm to inches conversion.” Turns out, it’s pretty simple. You just take the number of centimeters and divide it by 2.54.
- So, in my case, I needed to divide 188 by 2.54.
I grabbed my phone’s calculator and punched in the numbers: 188 / 2.54.
The answer popped up: 74.015748… a long string of numbers, It is about 74.02.
So there you have it. I’m approximately 74.02 inches tall. That’s a little over 6 feet, which actually makes me a bit surprised!
